Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using MatchMo. By creating an account or using our platform you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use MatchMo.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use MatchMo. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We may request proof of age at any time and may terminate accounts where eligibility cannot be verified.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@orvena.lk.

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your profile. Misrepresentation — including using someone else's photos or falsifying your age — is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MatchMo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Create fake, duplicate, or misleading profiles.
  • Harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or abuse other members.
  • Post or share sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content.
  • Solicit money, financial information, or commercial transactions from other members.
  • Promote escort services, prostitution, or any form of paid sexual activity.
  • Use MatchMo to recruit for multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or other commercial ventures.
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform's technical systems.
  • Create accounts using automated means (bots, scripts).
  • Circumvent any moderation, content filtering, or account restriction measures.

4. Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you upload to MatchMo (photos, bio, messages). By posting content you grant MatchMo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

You must ensure that you have the right to post all content you upload, including photos. Posting content that violates a third party's intellectual property rights or privacy rights is prohibited.

5. MatchMo+ Subscriptions

MatchMo+ is a paid subscription that provides premium features. By subscribing you agree to the Subscription and Cancellation Terms. Subscription fees are charged via PayHere and are non-refundable except as expressly stated in those terms or required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

The MatchMo name, logo, design, and all platform code and content (excluding content posted by members) are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute MatchMo's intellectual property without our written permission.

7. Moderation and Account Termination

We reserve the right to investigate complaints, restrict access to content, and suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines at our sole discretion. We will notify you of account restrictions where reasonably practicable, except where doing so would be unsafe or legally prohibited.

8. Disclaimers

MatchMo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that all members are who they claim to be. You assume all risks associated with meeting other members, online or offline.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MatchMo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Sri Lanka.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance by email or in-app notification. Continued use of MatchMo after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
